Hi Ziona,

We should be uploading a page about Courses in the near future. I can tell you that my company - WritePoint Ltd. - is starting our next course in Jerusalem on February 6th (you can contact us at seminars@writepoint.com) and another course in the north right after Pesach.

Do you have information for Marcom writers?
Also, do you have information for freelance professionals (hourly rate, for example)?

Thank you

Some writers work part-time, and so the salary information they provide skews the survey results.
To align their salary with everyone else's, I suggest asking on the next survey:
If you work part-time, calculate what your salary would be if you worked full-time at the same rate. For example, if you work 3/5 of a full-time position, determine what your full-time salary would be by multiplying your actual salary by 5/3.

Also, would you share with us (perhaps by including raw data we could play with in Excel) salaries per years of experience?

Hi Mike,

Yes, we can extract that information from the survey - connecting people who say they work in Tel Aviv with how much they say they earned. This does not tell us WHO the person is in Tel Aviv, so the survey remains anonymous. I am going to do my best to post the rest of the survey and these details next week. I've thankfully been overwhelmed with work and classes but have a break over Chanukah. I'll do my best to get it up on the site soon, as well as previous surveys. I'm also planning to write an article for the MEGAComm conference magazine - analyzing over a year's worth of results and post more info in it. And we will run another survey before the conference and make it a bit more detailed (not a lot), and present that at MEGAComm as well. I was talking to someone here about also providing a hand-out of the results at the conference - not sure yet, but interested in the idea. We'll see. Obviously, after the conference, we'll also make this info available on the site.

Is there any way you can publish an average wage to area statistic, for example, Tel Aviv: Hi= ???, Low= ???, Average= ???. I am sure this would be helpfull for those who are negotiating wage increases and are often told "oh thats the wage they pay in Tel Aviv, you won't find anything close to that in our area."

Hi Evan,

We have the raw data to extrapolate for experience and titles against income, as well as using work location as factors for salaries. We hope next week, after we post the rest of the questions, to add this information as well.

Thanks

Do you have the years experience as well ? In their current state, the data do not distinguish between 20 years experience and 2 years.

BTW (via Excel and excluding the data with "zero" as salary):
Avg = 17,411 NIS
Max = 27,600 NIS
STDEV = 4200 NIS
