Ezriel Yellin,  Moderator

Ezriel Yellin has a degree in urban and regional planning with a specialty in mathematical and computer modeling, and a graduate diploma in management and accounting. He opened his own business, creating specialized computer solutions for small businesses. Following a particularly successful, but rather grueling year, Ezriel moved to Israel. Changing his career plans to computer programming, he accepted a series of programming position, first at Micro Nova Systems and later at various government ministries and offices. Looking for a less hectic schedule, Ezriel moved to technical writing as a career. He has worked in many different industries, but primarily in telecommunications.

Ezriel was the Techshoret list owner for many years, helping to shape the direction of Techshoret and make it the useful and friendly community it is. In early 2007, Exriel decided to retire as list owner, but remains a moderator. Ezriel is married with three interesting children. They live on a moshav somewhere in Israel. He can be reached at .

Cara Bereck Levy, Moderator

Cara Bereck Levy has been a technical writer since 1997. In addition to technical documentation, Cara writes advertising copy and other sub-genre science fiction for her company's marketing department.   Previous to entering technical writing, as a member of one of Israel's agricultural settlements, Cara held a number of jobs, including long stints as a dairy worker wearing regulation hip-boots. She was also employed in various forms of general agricultural gruntwork. It is her belief that Israel is made unique among nations by virtue of the fact that such job histories may be found in the C.V.'s of its high-tech workers.

Cara has been living in Israel since 1979, and ascribes her successful integration into Israeli society to her utter inability to take anything in life seriously--with the single exception of documentation deadlines.

She is married to Yossi Levy, a former turkey house worker, who currently troubleshoots mainframe computer woes for a major Israeli bank. They have three amazingly wonderful children.
